Welcome

Hi, my name is Charlotte and welcome to my blog. I hope this blog helps you learn more about the wonderful world of music! Follow me as I blog about my discoveries in music. And learn while I explore into the history, concepts and the performances of music. I am currently studying year 10 music at school and I am involved in three school bands these include; Concert Band, Year 10 band and UC Big Band. My music class has three music lessons a week, within these we have theory on Mondays, Solo performances every second Tuesday, on the other Tuesday we do rhythmic practise and lastly on Fridays we have Year 10 band rehearsals. Concert band rehearsals take place in lesson five on every Wednesday. Stage Band rehearsals are also on Wednesdays after school as well as on Friday mornings before school.  I have been playing an instrument since I was eight this was the Piano, but I no longer play this. I am currently Playing the Alto Saxophone and I am on my third year this and I have been enjoying every step of the way. Before I started the Alto Saxophone I played the Clarinet for three years from year five to the end of year 7.  Also enjoyed this but when I had the chance to fulfil my dream in playing the Saxophone in year 8 I switched instruments. I deiced to make this blog so I could share the joy I get when listening, playing and learning about music.
